Answers to Your Questions

Jobs and Economic Impact

How many jobs will the project create?

Phase one will require about 2,000 skilled craft construction jobs. At peak development, up to 4,500 construction jobs will be generated, alongside 20+ permanent, full-time operations roles.

How will the project impact local housing and workforce housing availability?

As our project brings new jobs to the region, we recognize the importance of workforce housing and are committed to working alongside local stakeholders to support a high quality of life and strengthen the community. We will engage with local housing authorities and community leaders to help address concerns around housing availability and affordability as the area grows.

Will local businesses be utilized?

Yes. Vantage will prioritize working with local suppliers, vendors and subcontractors, creating direct opportunities for regional small businesses.

How can local suppliers and vendors be considered for opportunities?

Vantage Data Centers is committed to engaging qualified local suppliers, vendors and subcontractors throughout the development of the Wyoming campus. Businesses interested in being considered for current or future opportunities are encouraged to submit their company name, primary contact information, service offerings, relevant experience and any applicable certifications to [email protected]. Submission of information does not constitute prequalification, inclusion in a solicitation process or a commitment to award work; however, it helps ensure your organization is identified as a potential resource as the project progresses.

Environment and Utilities

Will this raise my power bill?

No. Power for the campus will be supplied by an adjacent natural gas generation facility. This will ensure reliable operations without impacting electricity costs or grid stability for local residents.

How much water will the campus use?

Water use will be exceptionally low, equivalent to the usage of about 75 homes annually. An initial fill of the closed-loop system will temporarily require the equivalent of about 100 homes for a single year.

Construction and Traffic

What is the construction schedule?
Initial site development is expected to begin in late 2026 or early 2027, with phased construction continuing into early 2030.
